ENTERTAINMENT

Chesco River Country Variety Show,a two-hour extravaganza that will include gospel, country western, and western swing tunes performed by the Chesco River Band, lively dancing by the Chesco River Cloggers, comedy and guest performers.  2-4 p.m.
All musical performances will take place indoors in the Methodist Church's Fellowship Hall.

Outlaws & Lawmen, a Rowdy Wild West Re-Enactment Group, will provide high frontier drama with their theatrical depictions of days gone by.  There will be some gunplay of course, but only the finest "blanks" imported from Hollywood will be used instead of real bullets, and the group is very safety conscious.  Not recommended for children age 3 and under.

By His Grace Quartet of Salina, Oklahoma will sing old-time Southern Gospel music accompanied by electric keyboard and electric bass guitar. This all-male group has sung together 15 years and recorded a CD album. 

Living History Performances, featuring Kathie Clendenen as Belle Starr, the infamous Outlaw Queen and Don Warden, the Siloam Springs Museum Director, as Fred Bartell.

Children's Games and Activties hosted by Siloam Springs Department of Parks & Recreation staff Libby Wand and Scott Hodge. Morning and afternoon sessions.

Beauty and the Beast Musical at 7:30 p.m. at the Sager Creek Arts Center adjacent to Twin Springs Park.

Siloam Springs Farmers Market - enjoy locally grown fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers and bushes; handmade wooden items and hand crocheted items.


ARTS & CRAFTS

Dogwood Lacers of Northwest Arkansas will be demonstrating bobbin lace making and tatting (in the Fellowship Hall).  They  meet the first Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. at the Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale.  For additional information call Jenny Coleman at 479-925-2823.  The Dogwood Lacers are a chapter of the International Old Lacers, Inc. Watona Robards Fine Arts will feature original paintings done in watercolor and pastels on scratch board.  (Twin Springs Park)

Misty Dawn's Handmade Jewelry - hand crafted fashion jewelry for adults and children made in various styles to suit any taste. Misty will offer demonstrations of how to make earrings at 10:00 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.  She will also be giving away one pair of earrings during each demonstration.  (Twin Springs Park)

D.A. Woodson Studio - Gourd art, fine art prints and drawings with wolf, floral and other themes, T-shirts featuring original art, and fossils. 

James Howell and Flintknapper Friends will demonstrate the traditional, ancient methods of making arrowheads, scrapers and other stone tools and will have some unique handmade glass art items for sale. (Twin Springs Park)

Ballard Holler Wood Shop - offering hand crafted wood pieces:  messenger boards, jewelry boxes and more. Custom and special orders are accepted. 

Robert Burgess of RD Canyon Ranch will be selling turned wood products.  He will have bowls and ink pens that have been hand turned on a wood lathe.  The woods used are native and exotic.  (Twin Springs Park)

Diana Shannon will be selling country-themed paintings, painted glass and ceramic items and saws.  She teaches art classes in Siloam Springs and Kansas, Oklahoma and has decades of experience in creating her popular, colorful artwork. (Twin Springs Park)

Mary Griffith of Siloam Springs will be selling and demonstrating how she makes her handmade paper jewelry.  (Fellowship Hall)

HISTORICAL & EDUCATIONAL

Walking Tour of Siloam Springs' Historic Downtown, led by Siloam Springs Museum Director Don Warden.  This area is on the National Historical Register. 

James Howell and Flintkanpper Friends will demonstrate the traditional, ancient methods of making arrowheads, scrapers and other stone tools.  (Twin Springs Park)

Civil War Artifacts from the C.W. Webb Collection.  You will have the opportunity to see some of the most interesting pieces from his extensive private collection.  He will be in costume and his artifacts will be on display inside the Fellowship Hall. (Fellowship Hall)

Exquisite Victorian Jewelry and Women's Accessories from Anne Webb's Collection will be displayed. She will also be in costume and will provide fascinating details about the elaborate mourning rituals observed by Victorian women.  (Fellowship Hall)

Siloam Springs Memorabilia Display, featuring varied and exotic items from Don Cundiff's Collection.  Don has been collecting Siloam Springs memorabilia for decades.  If you have Siloam Springs memorabilia (nothing that was made later than the 1950s) and would like to sell or trade them, be sure to track Don down in the First United Methodist Church's Fellowship Hall.  (Fellowship Hall)

Northwest Arkansas Gem & Mineral Society - Displays of gem stones, minerals and more along with information about them and the society. 

Arkoma Coin & Relic Club - Displays of historic and more recent artifacts discovered by members using metal detectors.  (Twin Springs Park)

Author, Kirby Sanders will be selling and autographing copies of his recently published Driver's Guide to the Butterfield Overland Mail Route, published by Heritage Trail Partners.   (Twin Springs Park)

Diana Shannon's Country Paintings & Lye Soap Making Demonstrations.  A veteran arts and crafts festivals vendor, Diana will demonstrate the "cold press" method of making lye soap and display her paintings and hand-painted dishes, glasses, saws and more.

The Southern Memorial Association was founded in 1872 by a group of Fayetteville, Arkansas women to begin building the Confederate Cemetery in Fayetteville.  They now provide the care and funding for the maintenance of the Confederate Cemetery in Fayetteville.  (Fellowship Hall)
